In 1970 a version of Living Barbie was released, reserved exclusively for the Japanese market.On the same Living body of this Barbie, her friend Eli was also created in Japan. She had the same body as Dramatic Living Barbie. The face mold she used for Eli was different. The face mold of her was that of the American market Sweet Sixteen Barbie, just painted differently. She arrived in a similar open box with a clear stand just like Barbie. She wore a red outfit and her hair unlike Barbie who wore it in pink. Her head looks a bit oversized because she has the features of a little girl, with dreamy makeup and pigtails. It is very rare on the collector's market.
