10 x 8 inch autographed photograph of Muhammad Ali during the "Rumble in the Jungle" boxing event held in Kinshasa, Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo) on October 30, 1974. The fight was held at the 20th of May Stadium (now the Stade Tata Raphael), it pitted the undefeated world heavyweight champion George Foreman against challenger Muhammad Ali (1942-2016), a former heavyweight champion. Attendance for this event was about 60,000. Ali won by knockout, putting Foreman down just before the end of the eighth round. It has been called " arguably the greatest sporting event of the 20th century.
The photograph was personally autographed by Muhammad Ali, under the supervision of The Score Board, Inc., and is mounted on a 15 x 12 inch wooden wall-mount plaque, behind plexiglass, with an engraved plate that reads, 'MUHAMMAD ALI-WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - "The Rumble in the Jungle" - October 30, 1974 - Limited Edition 219 of 1974 below the photograph.
