Welcome to the iGuide Zippo Lighter Price Guide

IGuide.net is proud to host the online Zippo Lighter Price Guide. The guide is maintained by Jon R. Warren, whose price guide books have been the authority on collectibles values since 1985. The searchable database consists of detailed reports in an ever-growing database of items in this category. Each Price Report includes current market values in ten different grades. The database is updated constantly.

How To Search the Database

Enter keywords (example: BETTY PAGE ZIPPO) into the searchbox at the top of this page, then click the WHAT'S IT WORTH button. Our search engine will find matching pages based on keywords you type into the Search Box. Too many results? Be more specific. Not enough results? Be less specific.

About Prices

Prices vary widely. We strive to reflect actual selling prices rather than Internet "asking" prices, which are often inflated. The Prices shown on our Price Guide Detail Pages are reviewed and updated by our Board of Advisors. They are as up-to-date as possible. Want to suggest a Price Update? Help us keep up-to-date, click the FEEDBACK button at the very top center of each page.

Market Report

One important fact anyone wishing to sell Zippos should know is that ALL Zippo Price Guide books are far out of date and the prices are vastly inflated above today's market. The market for the rarest and limited edition Zippos continues to be strong. The rare 1930s and 1940s Zippos in original boxes are very much sought after and sell quickly at high prices. Beginning in the late 1950s, Zippos were mass-produced, thus making them quite common. Zippos from about 1965 onward are common in most cases. Still, many command good prices on eBay and other sites, while others fail to sell or sell at far below original retail.

Where to Sell Zippos?

We recommend eBay.com for selling your Zippos. If you do not wish to do the work of selling them yourself, there are many companies that will sell them on eBay for you on consignment. One such site is 2ndMarkets.com owned by 2nd Markets Corporation of Chattanooga, (full disclosure, 2nd Markets owns this site).
