Rockwell's Spirit of Scouting Medals Collection (Franklin Mint, 1972)

39mm diameter medals, only issued in sterling silver. Complete set of 12 medals. Norman Rockwell translated the 12 rules for Boy Scout conduct in his medallic designs. This was the first series of medals to be designated official medals of the Boy Scouts of America. The 12 medals were sculpted by Richard Baldwin. The set was issue in 1972 in a very large mintage. Set is common but has value due to silver content. Collectors will not pay the full silver value.
