GENERATIONS OF EXCELLENCE Collector's Set (Hummel 11/2/0, 1042-D, TMK 8) 130th Anniversary

Created to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik. Founded in 1871, the factory is still family owned, and a tribute to the excellence of German handcrafted art. Crafted in cold cast porcelain and hand painted, Generations of Excellence, has been sculpted to compliment the introduction of the special edition Merry Wanderer (Hum 11/2/0).

Measurements: Figurine 4 1/4"H. Display 5-1/4"L x 3 1/2"W x 5"H. It's label reads, "Generations of Excellence, Mark # 1042-D, © Goebel 1999.

Merry Wanderer's base is incised 11 2/0, and 93, stamped "1871" and "2001", with trademark 8.

Hummels must be in "like new" condition without chipping, crazing or cracking to have any value. Damaged items are virtually unsaleable.
